What we store
- Your email address and display name, so you have an account.
- Your password as a one way scrambled hash. Nobody, including the team, can read it.
- Your backup codes as hashes. Each code works once.
- Session records: when a sign in happened, if it is still alive, and the address it came from.
- Security events: failed sign in attempts, the network address and browser description used, and which account was targeted.
- Anti cheat reports: a scrambled hardware identifier, hashes of the modules and drivers loaded by the game, and match statistics. These are used to catch cheats and are never shared.
- Page counters: how often each public page was viewed, with no identity attached.
Why
Everything above is used to run the accounts, keep cheaters and guessers out, and keep the project alive. That is the entire list of reasons.
What we never do
- No ads, no ad networks, no analytics companies.
- No selling or renting data to anyone, ever.
- No reading your messages or watching your gameplay beyond the session data the servers already need.
Third parties
The only outside requests the website makes are to Google Fonts so the inter font loads. Everything else, including your data, never leaves our own server.
How long we keep it
Security events are kept for 90 days so repeated attackers can be recognized. Page counters are kept indefinitely but contain no personal details. Your account rows last until you delete the account.
Your controls
- See and revoke your active sessions on your profile page.
- See your own security history on your profile page.
- Delete your account from your profile page whenever you want. Sign in is disabled, your email stays reserved so nobody can impersonate you later, and session records stop growing.
